Intro
Sponsored to design and produce a swimwear collection for showcasing at the SLDF (Sri Lanka Design Festival) Fashion Shows.
The Sri Lanka Design Festival project gave me the amazing opportunity to produce my swimwear collection at Linea Aqua, part of MAS Holdings, where I was able to use the latest technologies at the forefront of swimwear construction, focusing on bonded seams/finishes and state of the art applications to produce flocking on mesh and graphics/textures. The use of bonding in my collection creates clean seams and finishes with out stitching or rubbering.

Inspiration
Inspired by my love of contemporary architecture, these new technologies enabled me to construct angular, crisp lines and panelling to create a slick and modern collection. I wanted to represent the importance of the fashion industry in spear heading the development of Sri Lanka at such an exciting time.
