This project is the sum up of a long research and recreation of identity for the fictional Tyrell Corporation from the movie Blade Runner (I know, I know, "one more time"). In the end I created an all new image that I believe better captures the essence of the high-tech biocorporation and its founder vision, Eldon Tyrell.
This is the special pack with all my work, it is composed by the identity manual, a "blue-print" of the primary trademark and a promotional catalogue for the next generation of replicants. This last item is actually the result of a colaboration between me and Alexandra Ramos, Andréia Sousa and Helena Pinto.
First the identity manual, the golden book.
"Since its early days, TYRELL has always been ahead of its time. Founded by Eldon Tyrell, its primary goal is to create the best possible replicants to the benefit of humans. “More human than human” is our goal and we lead the market in creating the best possible workers of any industry or service.
As number one in providing to the Off-World colonies manual assistance in every human activity, from the standard pleasure models to the most advanced military personnel, we are constantly developing new features.
It is not surprising that as a high-tech biocorporation with such a great impact in this moderna days, we need to present ourselves with a strong image. Therefore this manual presents our standards."
The branding was made in group as stated earlier. I worked on the website with Andréia and on the photoshoot with Alexandra. Helena Pinto did the layout of the catalogue and the text. Andréia also worked on an awesome diamond icon gif using the 3D modeling program Maya.
