This was a redeployment ceremony for my friend Theresa, her husband, Jamie, was coming home from Iraq and seeing his daughter Hailey for the first time since she was born. I tried to capture the joy of the home coming, without invading the family's space and need for their own special time. As an army wife, myself, I know how important those initial moments of reuniting can be, and would never want to take that away from anyone by being there with a lens, clicking away.
