Kerrickters I've known and some I've never met.
After years of rendering faces with tight, accurate control, I decided to push the bounds of accuracy and inject song and dance into my portraits. I chose—and am choosing—characters which lend themselves most to animation in their lives and/or performance...or simply in their personalities. This is ongoing, and will most likely include the human figure in dance.

Bollywood cinema has been a huge influence on me, as have its actors, namely Rani Mukerjee, Sonam Kapoor and, especially Shahid Kapoor. His excellence in his tight, yet almost anti-gravitational dance inspires me to be as lively in my portrayal of him (alkyd (oil) on board).
