The tiger project is divided into 2 parts. The first part is the graphic design of the tiger, which is here bellow. The second part of the project is the painting of a Peliquiero mask.
This project started as a simple conversation. One day, my father and I started to talk about how cool it would be to make a real size Peliqueiro mask. My father had already worked on many small sized masks, but he had never made a real sized one. We were curious about how much wood it would need, which would be the size of the metallic sheet, how we would attach the mask to the head...
The next thing I know, I'm vectorizing a tiger on Illustrator to later paint it on the mask. But well, it's it like this how all the cool project start? With a mere conversation?
