Summary
The Runaway Circle was my first independednt animated film made as a classroom project at NID.
It is a story about a chalk circle that escapes from a classroom environments to avoid being erased by a menacing duster. The film captures the journey of the circle within the school, as it meets and makes more enemies, till it finally finds a resting place in the Art Room.
I used a circle as the central character, because it a fundamental figure to construct geometrical forms in Maths and also for drawing organic forms.
