These are a series of Illustrated covers I did for the Sunday Drive section that ran in The Kansas City Star. I wanted to do a style that would be bold and pop out among the other pages in the paper, so I did a limited color pallet with thick black lines and solid colors. The opposite of the photos and grey text blocks of most newspaper pages.
