Hundreds of barracks once filled the Tule Lake Segregation Center during World War II. I superimposed my photography upon the side of a barrack to create murals informed by my experience with the Tule Lake Pilgrimage. There are just a few structures left to remember this history. I created this series as monuments for the continuing resistance to the unjust incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II.
