CONCEPT
This illustration is inspired by Catrina and Día de Muertos de México, especially the representation given to her in the short film Hasta los Huesos. I wanted to do a Catrina with a certain love for life and optimism, showing with the phrase and attitude of the character, that although we are all going to die, it is necessary to love the time we spend here in the world.
CONCEPTO
Esta ilustración está inspirada por la Catrina y el Día de Muertos de México, en especial la representación que se le da en el cortometraje Hasta los Huesos. Quise hacer una Catrina con cierto amor por la vida y optimismo, mostrando con la frase y la actitud del personaje, que aunque todos vamos a morir, es necesario amar el tiempo que pasemos aquí en el mundo.
