This show is Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis' musical follow-up to the acclaimed long-running Broadway smash "Urinetown." Conceptually, many design challenges were presented - the show takes place at the beginning of time, at the bottom of the sea, but is also a rock musical, and also a Greek drama - about Yeast cells rising to the top of the ocean to trigger the process of evolution. It took many concepts and drafts to come to the final image. I created two posters - one (before publicity photos had been taken) that accentuated the edgy rock musical, and the other as a spoof of self important classical theatre. I also designed the production's website, using a custom Wordpress Template.
