For this design challenge, I wanted to create three fairly different posters for the same movie. I used simple images (simple meaning there is really only one thing or main idea in each photograph) in order to give a bit of mystery to the plot of the movie. I wanted people to view the posters and try to come up with their own ideas about the film.

 

Each image tells its own story by itself and the three also work together as a whole. It could even be assumed that the posters could be for a trilogy if I were to release each on a different day and change the titles slightly. Overall, I wanted to give my audience flexibility and permission to use their imagination to connect the images to create a story.

 

If the images truly did their job, then people would be intrigued by the posters and would go to the movie in order to find out the real story behind the three images.
