Feelsright Identity System

PROBLEM

I Speak English Graphic Design Solutions was commissioned by local Galway based tech start-up Freelsright, formally Mission Possible. Feelsright requested a complete rebrand of their existing identity. Feelsright is a reward and recognition web platform that gives companies the opportunity to buy credit for their staff. The credit can be used for personal tasks, completed for them while they are at work. The tasks can range from gardening to dog walking or even a member of Feelsright waiting in for a delivery.
Feelsright is also a marketplace where service providers can sign up to provide services in their chosen area. These credits can also be used by employers as part of a employment package for new employees. The brand brief was extensive and would see Feelsright gain a: new name, brand positioning, identity guidelines and the generation of the brand idea /ethos and stationary.

RESEARCH

The project started with extensive research into similar companies both here and abroad. The research focused on the look and feel, tone of voice, website aesthetic and social media brand presence. The research also analysed  how people reacted to the brands on an emotional level, and what they were saying about the services provided.
From the research conducted, the elements that stood out were a sense of community, wellbeing, aspiration and trust. This research created a sound foundation for the final identity solution.

SOLUTION

The Acheulean hand axe is said to be one of man’s very first forms of innovation and tech. A very simple tool used around 1.3-1.9 million years ago, the Swiss Army Knife of its time. It is a prime example of how simple cultures lived, and how communities survived. It was then ideal for the base concept, giving a nod to Feelsrights main feature, simplicity within people’s lives. The end marque is a culmination of both innovation and complexity. It is also a transition from complex to simple. Simplicity being at the top of people's lives. The chosen font is Andes Rounded Black. A font with a warm, and welcoming feel to it.
