This photo album was made for my aunt's 60th birthday celebration.
Using a railway train as a symbol, it illustrated her journey through life in stations, from her childhood years, up till now, and toward a blissful future ahead.
My aunt is a Chinese language teacher. The title of the book is taken from a Chinese poem, to describe her as someone who is contented and confident with herself, and is simple and real in the way she lives.
The early chapters featured her memories in her high school days. Many of the ladies she grew up with came to celebrate with her and enjoyed the reminiscence together.
Since we were little, she has always been a loving aunt to us, and a loving daughter to my grandparents.
Friends and family contributed to this gift by leaving her well wishes at the end.
