We have tried to emphasize the company’s heritage as one of the trailblazers of the country’s capital industry. We have set its corporate philosophy of ‘Shin-Jeuk-Geun-Young (Trust is the Foundation of Prosperity),’ written in Chinese characters, as the main title and attempted to imbue the report with a decent tone and manner based on the traditional Korean sense of beauty, which is represented by the texture of traditional Korean paper, traditional Korean paintings, and Korean ancient poem. And we have published the company’s ‘Profile’ and ‘Financial Report’ in two books, and bound them in a single folder.

한국의 자본시장 시작부터 함께 해 온 신영증권은 전통성을 지키며, 신뢰가 곧 번영의 근간이라는 ‘신즉근영(信則根榮)’의 경영이념 아래 가치투자철학과 정도영업을 실천하고 있습니다. 이 ‘신즉근영’의 이념을 한자 typography로 메인 타이틀화하고 전통닥지 질감과 느낌의 용지사용, 수묵터치의 그래픽 사용 등으로 전체적으로 한국적이고 전통적인 톤앤매너를 형성하고자 했습니다.
Design Strategy
사군자를 표현한 한국화와 전통 문인의 한시로 한국의 전통성과 정신 표현. 신영증권이 추구하는 금융의 모습을 강인하지만 향기롭고 올곧지만 아름다운 한국의 사군자에 은유하여 표현함으로써 신영증권이 가진 전통성과 내실 있고 신뢰 받는 금융파트너가 되고자 하는 정직한 기업가치를 전달하고자 하였습니다. 비주얼적으로는 4개 식물(매난국죽)의 특성을 덕과 학식을 갖춘 사람의 인품에 비유한 사군자를 그린 전통한국화를, 메시지적으로는 전통문인의 한시를 사용하여 한국의 전통성과 정신을 표현하여 가장 한국적이면서도 가장 전통성을 지키고 있는 신영증권을 전달하고자 하였습니다. 또한 기업의 철학과 사업부문 소개를 담은 ‘Profile’과 매년의 성과를 담은 ‘Financial Report’를 분권하여 하나의 폴더로 결합시킴으로써, 매년 Financial Report만 업데이트하는 합리적인 방식을 택하였고, 상품설명서 등 추가적인 내용도 삽입 가능하게 하여 활용도를 높였습니다.
