This brooch is made out of a stainless steel spoon that I sawed into strips and riveted to a copper strip with a pin back on it. I then powdercoated the whole thing and sanded through it to reveal the metals below. The copper has been darkened with a patina and gives a nice contrast to the light blue and silver coloring.
