Italo Calvino: Invisible Cities Project
For this project, we chose and read three sections from Invisible Cities. Then we created separate dioramas of each "city" and combined them all into one. After that, we created a final painting to bring it all together.

Collage Project
For this three-phase project, we first drew fifty small drawings of ubiquitous objects representing some sort of "alphabet." Then we used those drawings and made large collages. After that, we examined the collages we made and created a final painting.

Final: Bruises
For my final, I painted on four pieces of plexiglass, imitating the "bruises" that I found in my classroom. They are site specific pieces that blend into their surroundings when placed on their appropriate environments. I wanted to explore the idea of use and how isolating unintetional mark-making can be artwork as well.
