Sensory Design Project

Curiosity is an overwhelming desire to know or learn something. Our brief was to create a set of nesting tables that encourage this desire. I created my own set of curiosity rules:
From this I created a multifunctional table:
The dining table (abobe and second images below) could be used for everyday family meals or entertaining. The stacked smaller tables also lend well to presenting food and drinks at a cocktail party.
The table can also be used for play (first image below), the largest table has a hidden curtain for all of your kids (and big kids!) den making needs. The hole in the top of the table also provides a handy lookout point.
The smaller tables can also be used for teddy bear teatimes and stools for kids helping out in the kitchen.
This is just a basic idea of the potential uses for the table, but the principle is that you can do whatever you want with them, using your own creativity and curiosity the possibilities are endless.

I liked the idea of having a product kids could really go wild with, but parents are proud to own and show off at their own events.
