This was an intense article on Meth use in our region with lots of graphic content. The content could not be used on the cover. I found a stock image of someone working out, cropped it and gave it a color tone that I felt amplied the energy and made it almost grotesque. I then used my wacom to draw the type. I imagined what a person with way too much checmical energy and no way to disperse it might release with a pen. Almost scratching to fill the space but not enough pateience to complete anything neatly.
