POR: Fiz este peça de joalharia como projecto pessoal, durante o meu estágio de 6 meses no estúdio DHPH, situado na Holanda.

ENG: I did this piece of jewelry as a personal project, during my 6 months internship in the studio DHPH, located in Netherlands.
I went to a company that worked with minerals and selected a couple of stones. First ones were just for practice.
In the end I choose a raw white stone,who remind me of the Moon.
I bought a diamond blade and attached it to a grinder. Then I sculpted the stone, till more or less the size that I wanted. Shaped it with a sanding tools, like a electrical sanding machine, sanding paper etc.
After this, I polish it and because the stone was to fragile, in the end, I gave an epoxy bath to it.
For the "helmet" that you see the stone attached, I used an 8mm steel pipe. Weld one side, cut it with an angle grinder and gave a nice polish in the end.
I used epoxy to attach both parts too.
The silver necklace, and the box was a gift from my internship tutor who is a jewelry maker. Thanks a lot Michiel.
I cover the lid of the box with sintetic clay. I thought this could be a nice detail, because we used the clay to make some of the studio furniture.
