A lovely little show exists on the Motor Trend Network on youtube called Roadkill. It is the pet project of Hot Rod Magazine editor David Freiburger and staff editor Mike Finnegan.

 

For a long time, the only shirts available for the show were the ones the hosts wore. In one episode, there was a joke that if fans wanted a shirt, they can make their own, so that was what I did. What started out as a design for myself and a few extras to send to the hosts became part of their official line of graphic tees.

 

I provided them with several designs to choose from and my original color schemes were more for my own personal preference as to what I would wear, however they chose to stick close to the original color schemes, but printing in white ink instead of contrasting colors.

 

I gave Roadkill (well, Source Interlink Media, who was the money behind Hot Rod Magazine and Roadkill) rights to use my images for resale. However, it appears they no longer are with SIM and are now with The Enthusiasts Network (TEN) and no longer carry my designs. All the official Roadkill merch is now sold at Roadkill.com  and I do have some of my designs available through CafePress which I have linked up on my website (click the SHOP tab TeaguePlantation.com), but they do not have any Roadkill logos. They are just my original illustrations. There are some previously unreleased designs out there, too! I won't say at this point whether there is a General Mayhem or Rotson on the way, but I may allude to such things...
