Jawbone Sensors for Aging Parents

Using Jawbone's UP, they have a unique opportunity to facilitate between aging parents and adult children and their doctors.

Jawbone needs to be marketed to aging parents as early as 45-60 years old. At that time they are usually still independent and can help them monitor their health and maintain their independence. This is not a granny tracker. As health events happen, Jawbone can add extra features that are only temporary to aid in recovery and transition.
Process

We were given week long journals, interviews and questions for 4 sets of research participants. Using NOABS I broke down the data and saw that breakdowns were hindering recovery, quality of life and the relationship between aging parent and adult child.
We started with research participant interviews from the adult children who were taking care of their aging parents. Approaching the data from Jawbone's perspective I saw key goals and hurdles for each family.
After synthesizing the data, I targeting opportunities Jawbone has as independence for aging parents decreases and came to the conclusion that their products were needed before a crisis occured.
