Soap & Glory was founded on a notion that one should not have to spend an arm and a leg in order to moisturize herself. They offer beauty products such as moisturizers, make-up, perfumes, body and skin care. Soap & Glory recommends applying products with happiness and abandon, because while beauty absolutely matters, it doesn’t matter absolutely.
The scope of this project was to develop a new identity, packaging system, stationery set, and a catalogue for Soap & Glory that follows their mission of being a company that is fresh, fabulous and affordable. The concept, “Create Your Moment”, is based on the idea that the consumer can create her own glorious moments.
The new identity consists of a newly designed logo and logotype. Wings were used to represent hope and glory, and an ampersand is etched into a bar of soap, therefore satisfying both the soap and glory aspect of the brand name. A new stationery system was designed with the new branding along with complementary illustrations. Three packages were developed to accompany the rebranding of this company. Each package shows historical iconic figures who represent the aspirations of the younger women who use Soap & Glory’s products.
