These are a few out-take frames I storyboarded for a game project a while back. Although there were many, many individual frames, I chose these because the theme of climbing in this particular sequence echoes my own love of rock climbing. They were all done in pencil on paper and then matted with short text descriptions along with each. The text shown on these examples is just placeholder.
Note** There are some frames missing and out of sequence in this set. I really love storyboarding because it allows me to visually imagine and direct whatever narrative I am working with and trying to express. It's a little like getting to make a movie without a huge budget or employing a cast of dozens or even hundreds. I can play with lighting, camera angles, characters, expressions and movement etc all very quickly and spontaneously.
