Emilia Romagna will always remember May 2012. Two intense tremors stroke the region in which 27 people died, 350 people were injured and 16.000 were made homeless. Furthermore 13.2 million euro has been lost through damage to small and large companies in the area, which mainly includes food production for which this area is so famous.
 
These photos were taken to show how the region has been affected from this natural disaster and the amazing strenght of the people had in fighting a catastrophe and ribuilding a new life.
