I shot a series of portraits of people who use on an everyday basis five of the venues that where used for the Commonwealth Games. The portraits where exhibited at the Lighthouse in Glasgow as part of an exhibition GREENCITY looking at the impact the Commonwealth Games had on the city. I worked with sound artist Mark Vernon who interviewed each of the sitters and created amazing audio interviews. Mark and I spent a fascinating month exploring the Sir Chis Hoy Velodrome, Kelvingrove Bowls Centre, Toll Cross Swimming Pool, Cathkin Braes Mountain Bike Trail and the SECC Hydro. Curated by Architecture and Design Scotland, Exhibition design by Stuco and graphics by Ostreet.
Its the last chance to see GREEN2014 The Environmental Legacy of the XX Commonwealth Games in Glasgow at the Lighthouse in Glasgow which is on until the 24th of October 2014.
