The Client:
Impress Software
The Challenge:
Design various look and feels for a java-based shopping cart application.
The Solution:
Three designs were submitted. The shopping cart tool that Impress will eventually be marketed to just about any industry. So, the project manager and I brainstormed the idea of showing the sale of motorcycle parts. (We figure it as valid as anything else.) We took the idea one step further by actually branding the company as well the drive the point home. The first design was geared towards a more conservative look and feel, and it was eventually chosen by the client for build-out. The second design invoked a more modern approach, and the third was built off of a more radical, stock-car racing theme. In all cases, the client was extremely happy with the variety of choices and depth of design look-and-feels.
