Honeycomb Watercolour Box
packaging design university brief
packaging design university brief
The brief for this university packaging design paper was to choose an object from nature and through research and experimentation, fully understand how it works and how the object's natural packaging techniques could be replicated in a paper or cardboard construction. I chose to take influence from honeycomb and my final product ended up being a portable watercolour paintbox. using the honeycomb's natural tesselation and geometric shapes to protect the paint blocks and to create a interesting way of transporting watercolours.
