Celebrity Portraits
A on-going project.
In developing a style of art that is blends both traditional + digital era techniques together, I began to create a series of celebrity portraits. These celebrity portraits are made by combining 90% digital painting, with 10% photo manipulation. I just love that I can really experiment and run free with this style without having to worry too much about technicalities.
My goal for these celebrity portraits is to just absorb and take in what the person is about , and from there, try to reflect that onto the canvas in a powerful, compelling portrait. I try to find photos of the celebrities that I feel – really speaks to me.
