Food Trivias

Teh Tarik (literally "pulled tea") is a hot milk tea beverage which can be commonly found in restaurants, outdoor stalls and kopi tiams in southeastern Asian countries
of Malaysia and Singapore. Its name is derived from the pouring
process of "pulling" the drink during preparation.

Ketupat (in Indonesian and Malay) is a type of dumpling made from rice
packed inside woven palm leaf pouch.

Karipap (or Curry Puff) is a Malaysian, Singaporean, and Thai snack. It is a small pie
consisting of specialised curry with chicken and potatoes in a deep-fried or baked
pastry shell, and it looks like the Portuguese stuffed bread called Empanada.

Durian or "king of fruits" is distinctive for its large size, strong odour, and formidable
thorn-covered husk. Its shape ranges from oblong to round, the colour of its husk
green to brown, and its flesh pale yellow to red, depending on the species.
