Production Still. Stopmotion has to be carefully planned ahead ao you can animate to elements that are not there. Itsusually not in the budget to reshoot. A few seconds takes all week and even longer. I animate in 1's for the most part. Which means i take one photo per frame of film. So at 24 frames per second(fps) i take 24 individual HD pictures for one second of film. In that frame I have to move the character ever so little, and sometimes moves cameras for moving shots and rack focuses ect.. Very time consuming-But well worth it and very satisfying in the end.
