My name is Dave Harmon. For over 25 years, I've been working on advertising and marketing projects for a diverse group of companies.  Everything from industrial products and services, to chocolate chip cookies and pizza.  Sometimes, it's sales literature, sometimes it's point-of-sale displays, sometimes it's direct mail and sometimes it's front-end web design.  In the end, they all have one thing in common, conveying a message in an engaging, creative and informative way. 
The introduction of a new Business Park in Aurora, IL, required a sophisticated information package.   Its purpose was to convince corporate tenants that the Business Park and surrounding community offered all the amenities necessary for businesses to successfully relocate and attract top-notch talent.
Product Brochure - required all original location photography, along with corresponding half-page ad, to promote product benefits.

Maplehurst needed an informative, upscale brochure to introduce their line of quality cake varieties to the commercial cafeteria market.  Designed brochure and art directed all-original photography.

Despite Praxair’s position as one of the world’s leading producers of atmospheric gasses, many of their customers were not aware of their long history in the beverage industry, dating back to the late 1800’s.  Through the use of a time line, Praxair outlined many of their key innovations, responsible for advancing the industry as a whole.
This “Pop-Up” brochure for Praxair’s new NatureWash® System gave added impact to the introduction of a new technology that addressed an old problem - how to extend the shelf-life of fresh produce. 
Working in conjunction with Dairy Management, Inc., a series of 27 posters were created to promote increased milk consumption among school-aged kids, as well as attract younger fans to the NFL.
Dairy Management, Inc. asked for a completely different approach from the previous year’s posters, but with the same goal; make it appealing to today’s media-saturated kids.  Worked closely with Alter Image studio to create milk / cereal bowl image.
Already the leader in commercial cafeteria baked goods, Otis Spunkmeyer, entered the consumer market through grocery store in-store bakeries.  A variety of sales materials were created to inform customers and store managers of the features and benefits of the OS brand.  Graphic design and art direction, utilizing both stock and original photography.
Designed labels for in-store bakery packaging, as well as artwork for POS displays.

Custom Root Beer labels, designed as give-aways at large industry Trade Show.

The Sweetheart Cup Company wanted a fun and unique way to introduce their new snack food container to the snack food industry.

BOTTOM: This project started out as a label redesign for a line of floor care products.  Vector illustrations of the product followed for presentation purposes, as no product photography was available.
Quantum Foods is a major supplier of protein products and one of the largest food processing companies in the US.  This is a Trade Show Booth aimed at the School Foodservice market, a huge purchaser of all types of protein products.
This booth is an identical unit to the one above, only this time designed for the Military market, also a huge purchaser of protein products.
Certified Power is a premium supplier of Hydraulics and Controls for the Mobile market.  Recent innovations to their in-cab control units, moving from an electronics based system, to a software driven system, has met with some resistance in the marketplace, due to concerns over service and installation.  This booth design was aimed at addressing those concerns with unique and bold imagery and messaging.
Trade Show Banners for E. H. Wachs, a premier manufacturer and distributor of tools and equipment for  industrial pipeline installation and maintenance.  Designed for use at smaller shows where space is limited.
Examples of front-end website designs for an industrial products company, legal services, gourmet food gift items and retail foodservice.
