The Core
The “fundamental principle” underlined in the Nara Document on Authenticity is that of a world where cultures must preserve their own heritage while respecting and upholding others’ to survive. Without the support of one another, the precious heritage and traditions of the world’s cultures - both past and present - will crumble.
The monuments of each country and culture are a crucial representation of their history, creativity, and heritage. We are the life force of our own cultures - we must preserve our fire and celebrate the light of others’.
