Bit-Energy is an energy and household consumption visualisation device. The main aim of the project is guarantee an efficient data comunication, clear information through simple and intuitive means.
Beside the quantifying energy icon, there are two other simbols regard a user oriented qualify evaluation. The design assumes in fact a pre-existing household energy generation from renewable resources (such as solar panel, wind turbine or bio-gas). The “x” and the “o” mean respectively non renewable or renewable used recources, providing information about their actual contribution to our energy requirement.
This device is easly, replacing exactly where the resources are expected to be used, in this way the data are at user’s disposal, thanks to Z-wave technology, influencing actions and habits positively.
