Creative Update is a bi-annual publication that acts as a showcase for the successes and achievements of alumni from the University for the Creative Arts.
To coincide with it’s tenth issue, we were approached by the University for the Creative Arts to re-design and re-position it’s alumni magazine, Creative Update.
The 48-page magazine, which is published twice a year and posted to over 20,000 UCA alumni, contains stories for and about it’s unique community of post-graduates. As the magazine is about the alumni and their stories we made sure that the focus remained on them using clean editorial layouts and stripping out unnecessary graphic decoration.
As well as giving the publication a more contemporary look, we redesigned the masthead and sectioned content to provide an improved reading experience, the design also successfully compliments the new, clean direction of the University’s corporate identity.
