From such a broom, such a splinter
From every splinter a new pole gets born, closing a new circle, every time more perfect than the other.
Micro-hero’s stories was brought to light after my longs strolls around the beach of Chanteiro (Ferrol) and after the impressions of who walked with me. Small poles in strange shapes not used to be the centre of attention unaware of the fuss that marks our daily routine, they are the consequence of the need of looking back and paying attention to what scarcely bears importance, of asking myself about every nuance, of making big what it is thought to be small. All these feeling were the catalyst for this exhibit concept.

Everything has a start, a root, a seed.
In this case I felt I needed to return to its original place, that thing that gave me so much.
And what is best than paying homage to the old dwellers of the Artabrian Gulf .
Each work is focused on one of those tribes (The Artabrian tribes)

I found very interesting to work on the idea of duality represented by those, my new companion in this journey. Their journey evokes my inner one, questioning processes and outcomes.

Concepto expositivo:
De tal palo, tal astilla.
Y de cada astilla nace un nuevo palo, cerrando de nuevo un círculo cada vez más perfecto. Historias de Micro-héroes nace de mis largos paseos por la playa de Chanteiro (Ferrol), y de los que en ellos me acompañaron. Pequeños palos de formas caprichosas, poco acostumbrados a ser el centro de atención y ajenos totalmente a la prisa que condiciona nuestra rutina. Son el reflejo de la necesidad de volver la vista atrás y detenerme ante lo que apenas tiene importancia. De cuestionarme cada detalle. De hacer grande lo aparentemente pequeño. Ellos fueron el catalizador de todo esto.
Serie Génesis:
(Grafitos sobre collage de papel añejo encolado en tabla y encerados).
Todas las cosas tiene un comienzo, una raíz, un embrión.
En este caso me sentía obligado a devolver al origen lo que me había proporcionado.
Y que mejor forma que homenajeando a los primitivos pobladores del Golfo Ártabro.

Cada una de las obras está dedicada a una de estas tribus.
Me pareció muy sugerente trabajar con la idea de la dualidad que representaban mis nuevos compañeros de travesía. De alguna forma, su viaje también representaba el mío interior, que cuestionaba procesos
y resultados.
