Legopolis, Adventures of the Hidden Chest
Educational stop motion animation, created during Animasyros 8.0 International animation Festival + Agora with the guidance of Dan Richards from A+C Studio in UK.
I was one of the assistants of this 2 day animation workshop and was assigned with setting up the greenscreens, and the animation program used, sketching a quick storyboard that the participants came up with and explaining them how the program works and the basics of stop motion animation in general.
The Nest
A stop motion animation created during the Animasyros 6.0 International Animation Festival + Forum, for the three day workshop "Bringing Pages to Life" given by Dan Richards and Stuart Clark, members of the UK based animation company Animate & Create Studios.
I was in charge of the bird animation, which was created from live footage of flying birds, using the rotoscoping technique.
The other participants worked in groups to built miniature sets and characters from old books and brought them to life using stop motion animation.
Puppet Portraits
Another stop motion animation, created during the Animasyros 7.0 International Animation Festival + Forum, for the three day applied workshop "Puppet Portraits" given by Dan Richards and Dayle Sanders, members of the Animate & Create Studios.
Every participant involved, myself included, made a puppet character and a number of props.
On the third day of the workshop, all the characters where animated by their creator, under the guidance of Dan and Dayle.
The film was presented at the closing ceremony of the festival, after which we got to keep our puppets, so here's mine!
