Greek metaphorical expressions
In Greece we use frequently in our speech metaphorical expressions. I chose two of them and tried to attribute each artistic. I used more the literal meaning of these phrases and tried to be a bit funny(at the first) and more abstractly(the second).
The first metaphorical expression is " Και ο Άγιος φοβέρα θέλει" which literally means that even the Saint need someone to scare him, but metaphorically we use this phrase when we want to achieve our goals by frightening  people.

The second metaphorical expression is" Άνοιξε η γη και τον κατάπιε" which literally means that the earth opened and swallowed him, but metaphorically we use this phrase when we haven't seen a person for a very long time or we can't find him/her anywhere.
