This is an ongoing project to make a documentary film about the first German air raid on Britain of World War 2 which took place on warships anchored near the Forth Rail Bridge in Scotland. The project is documented at
The sequence of events of the air raid are being recreated using archive footage and special effects. The first step in the project is to make a 'trailer' featuring example footage to gauge interest in the project and help gain support for the making of the documentary.
The photo shows the remains of one of the gun emplacements that protected the coast near the Forth Bridge in Fife. The ships attacked in the river were anchored to the left of the bridge in the picture.
