Third Year Design Studio
This project was an extension of the Prosthetic Devices exhibition. The objective was to create a drawing composition illustrating an architectural experience of sensual enhancement. My composition focused on auditory senses through enhancing conversation. I created a space for self communication. This space is designed for a person to be completely isolated from any human interaction for an excluded intimate setting. The threshold into the space is a forceful act of removal, to where a person can leave on world and enter into an intimate relationship with themselves. This relationship consists of recordings of their immediate thoughts, which causes them to develop an obsession over repetition of recollection. Their daily escape into this private space progresses from ritual routine to habit to addiction.
