Second Year Studio Project
The purpose of this project was to design a house for two people who share a platonic relationship; both having different interest and occupation. My house was designed for an art restorer and botanist to have a shared living experience that engaged with both of their interests. This house provided a place where these  two people could live and work comfortably in their own private and shared public spaces. The art restorer occupied the private space parallel with the aged  and exposed brick facade while the botanist occupied the rooftop garden that had an enclosed greenhouse. Their shared spaces engaged with both art and nature through exposing the old and celebrating the new; which enabled collected water to channel through the space.
