The pendulum comes with a glas bell, got a display out of granite, a wenge wood base and a piece of agarwood.

In the last field „immaterial luxury to touch“ I thought about the possibility of uniting immaterial values in a material luxury product. I developed a pendulum clock that gives stability and peace. The clock does not display a time. It gives an opportunity for a ritual that allows you  to rest after a busy day. The Pendulum has no face, but a pendulum which swings gently back and forth. On this swing a gold pin is attached, to which a piece of agarwood, which is more precious than gold, can be plugged. The wood chip is used for ritual moments, for which you have to take time. After burning the little piece of the agarwood, the smoke gives off a very delicate scent. The smoke can accumulate under the jar and then escape by lifting the bell in the space. This procedure is a great treasure, because once the bell is raised, a lot of money is „blowing in the wind.“  Using a harpy feather the scent is distributed in space.
This is a part of my diploma thesis 2012 in cooperation with Porsche Design. For this work I also got the IKEA scholarship for very eligible Projects.
