Singapore Breast Cancer Foundation Campaign 2014

Ask women what’s the first thing they check in the morning, and more often than not, it’s Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. As a reminder to the many social media savvy ladies, the next time they reach for their phone for that social feed, they should consider checking their breasts instead.

This is the plea behind the campaign from the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) in Singapore. The graphics resemble the famous logos, but on closer inspection, each logo has been redesigned to anatomically pay homage to breasts, with the visual mimicking a breast self-examination.

Using the tagline 'If only you checked your breasts as often', BCF launched an online appeal(http://bit.ly/logosagainstcancer) to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The appeal seeks to get the social media giants to lend their strength to help drive greater awareness about the disease, by urging them to adopt the unique logos during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is a non-profit organization in Singapore that promotes awareness and advocacy in order to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. For more information visit http://www.facebook.com/bcf.pink
