4 weeks  -  winter 2012  -  individual project in partnership with Ideal Carefully Curated Goods & Entreamigos
Plastic drink caps are common in landfills around the world. The materials for this edition of products were collected from local recycling centers and sterilized in boiling water. The final product had to be a salable item at Ideal, a Bellingham, WA-based design shop as well as something local artisans could make and sell at Entreamigos, and NGO in Mexico.
Detailed instructions of what materials to use and how to construct the candlesticks were recorded and sent to Entreamigos in San Pancho, Mexico.
Twenty candlesticks in two heights and four colorways were produced so consumers could pick their desired combinations.
Revolve was sold at Ideal Carefully Curated Goods in Bellingham, WA as part of the ReMade: Mexico show during February 2013.
