Max and Sam is an animation developed by N.A.D.A (Nucleus of Digital Art and Animation) of PUC-Rio as part of the
project Contos de Museu (Museum Tales)and in partnership with N.A.D.A and the Brazilian National History Museum.
This animated short tells the story of two dinosaurs facing the impact of a giant meteor. The short is displayed next to the
fossils of the two protagonist dinosaurs, with the objective of presenting both the prehistoric times and the concept of death
in a lighthearted way for young viewers. The animation was developed mixing both analog and digital media,beginning with
traditional 2D pencil animation and adding digital colouring and composition.
