Cheltenham - Shooting like a Photojourno

We we're given one hour to shoot a minimum of 20 street images in Cheltenham before returning back to our class room and uploading to a FTP server. The task was not so much about the quality of the images but the speed of editing and uploading. This is often how photojournalists work, it is all about retaining your standard of work when hurrying to get the files back to the news desk. Once we had the images on the computers back in the room we had a list of minor jobs before uploading. After quickly selecting our best 10 images we had too change the size to 10x8" 300px/inch, adjust the levels to correct contrasts, adjust whitebalance, add sharpness and export the JPEG between 700k and 1.4mb's. After all this was complete for our set of images we could upload to our FTP server using Filezilla. This task taught us how to work quickly and efficiently when working in a Photojournalist manor.

I have uploaded a set of images I used on the day below:)
