Viva us is an independent and printed editorial that highlights what is going on in terms of design in the city of London and Barcelona. The publishing works as a co-working space between creative people from both cities, where the talent and work of different designers and profiles are presented to define the current design scene that exists around them. Project by Alain Jaimez (Photos courtesy of Ariadna Pujol) www.ldnbcnvivaus.com Junior Designers: ALESSIA MAZZARELLA & KRISTA RADOEVA, FANNY WACKLIN & SOPHIE BALCH, NATALIE McCARTHY, MORPHIKA, TROPÈL, SERGI DELGADO Senior Designers: BUNCH DESIGN, PATRICK FRY, FABRICE LE NEZET, CAKE, RAMÓN ESCOLÁ, TOORMIX, BISGRÀFIC 'Bridge' Designers: VOLTIO, ELI ALONSO, CROWD, LOBULO, ALBERTO HERNÁNDEZ “El diseño en España es un lujo, mientras que en el Reino Unido es una necesidad” Alberto Hernández “Barcelona acoge la estética del diseño extranjero pero no la esencia” Lobulo “España tiende a un diseño popular y caduco: las modas” Eli Alonso “With so many agencies in London, it can be competitive. But no matter where you are, we think the important thing is to always create design that instigates a positive change” Bunch “London gives you a lot of inspiration and you kind of need to discover it as you go along. There are always loads of things going on. I think Barcelona is beginning to generate something like that" Natalie McCarthy “La frescura, el humor y el riesgo caracterizan a Barcelona, mientras que el estilo, la técnica y el gusto por la tipografía abunda más en Londres” Toormix “El diseño gráfico vive dónde hay dinero. Es por ello que la gente puede vivir sin diseño en España” Sergi Delgado Read Less
