Projet Borneo

This project has been initiated by six members of the ADIQ (Industrial Designer association of Quebec), as a way to promote the talent of the industrial design professionals of Quebec. We have created Bornéo, which respond to a real need of drinkable water in a urban context.

Our projet: Offer to Montrealers a free and easy access to clean water by using the current water network.
We convert the water-hydrants into drinkable water fountain. It is a sustainable solution to personnal water consumption. The project has won the Shenzhen Design Award for young talent in 2014.

Two devices has been installed on four different water-hydrants in Montreal. The pilot projet has been a success, we are looking forward for the implementation of more devices in the next years.
