Ciudades Patrimonio

There are 29 photographs representing 9 states of Mexico and the main goal was to display all of them as a whole exhibit but also show to the user a clear division between each city so there would be an easy visual association for the place and the image itself.
This particular display was made as a suggestion of The General Consul of Mexico in Atlanta. As I said before it is all about teamwork.
The room where the exhibition has held had a map of Mexico which was used to show geographically the location of the cities. For this we printed the shape of the states on transparencies to put over the map.

When the material was received some of the state’s names were damaged. Here I saw the opportunity to redesign them so they could fit a little better with the colors of the room.

The outline of every state was drawn behind each name so the users could associate the shapes and easily locate it on the map.

Thanks for watching :)
