‘Produce a piece of sculpture influenced from the exploration of “+ - x /.”
+ - x / sculptures are an embodiment of the material processing explored, as well as the literal mathematical equations which define their form.
A module was chosen and welded in a series of angular pattern repetitions which was then equated to a mathematical expression. Alternatively, the mathematical expression can be defined which then creates the form. Both methods were used to create these sculptures. The designs pictured were hand made by myself.
