2015 Sheep Year Red Packet Design
For our previous two CNY packets last year, we tried gold stamping as finishing on one of them and experimented pop up art for the paper horse version. We’re just too excited to share with you what we’re doing for 2015’s CNY!
We had this inspiration from the childhood game of “East, West, South & North (东南西北). Our red packet requires hand movement and air. We want the recipient to keep our red packet because it works just as nice as a decoration. Once you blow air into the little hole at the end of the red packet’s folded area, and voila! – it expands on all sides and gives you a sheep instantly.
Meanwhile, we added Chinese characters, patterns, art deco and a character design of a sheep to complete this 3D red packet.
For each little area like the ears and the feet, you can simply fold it base on the shape that’s provided, and with just a little twist, this amazing red packet will turn into an attractive pop-up sheep.
We do encourage you to have the pop-up sheep at your desk if you happen to receive one such red packet from someone. It represents prosperity and joy for you in this year of 2015!
